The photographic
collection of the Brattleboro (VT) Historical society includes about 2500
glass plate negatives of various sizes, shot in the early 1900's through
World War I. The images include the work of the Howe Brothers and Benjamin
Crown.
PhotoArk
started scanning the collection in 2000 and has now completed about two
thousand scans. The Brattleboro Historical Society has been able to put
the scans to use in publications, exhibitions and in their fund raising
efforts.
